Choosing your house in Hogwarts Legacy is one of the most exciting moments of your journey. Each house (Gryffindor, Slytherin, Ravenclaw, and Hufflepuff) has its own unique common room, values, and even a house-exclusive quest. But don’t worry– no matter which house you choose, you’ll still experience the full story, attend the same classes, and become a powerful witch or wizard.

How to Choose Your House in Hogwarts Legacy
During the Sorting Ceremony, the Sorting Hat will ask you a few questions. Your responses influence the house you’re placed in:
Bravery = Gryffindor
Curiosity = Ravenclaw
Loyalty = Hufflepuff
Ambition = Slytherin

What Changes Based on Your House?
While most of the game remains the same no matter which house you pick, there are a few key differences:
Common Rooms – Each house has its own beautifully designed common room, reflecting its personality and history.
House Colours & Robes – Your character’s clothing and gear will reflect your house’s colours.
Companions & Dialogue – Some interactions change slightly based on your house, especially when talking to fellow students.
Exclusive Quest – Each house has a unique quest that offers a different perspective on the story.
House Breakdown: Which One Fits You Best?
Gryffindor – The Brave and Bold
Common Room: A cosy, medieval-style tower full of warm colours and roaring fireplaces.
Values: Courage, bravery, determination.
Notable Members: Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, Ron Weasley.
House Quest: Helps Nearly Headless Nick in a quest involving the Headless Hunt.
If you love adventure and standing up for what’s right, Gryffindor is a great choice.
Slytherin – The Ambitious and Cunning
Common Room: A sleek, dungeon-like space beneath the Black Lake with eerie green lighting.
Values: Ambition, resourcefulness, cunning.
Notable Members: Draco Malfoy, Severus Snape, Merlin.

House Quest: Grants access to Azkaban, a rare and eerie experience in the game (and one you’ll miss out on if you choose one of the other houses!).
