The Sorting Ceremony

Your arrival at the castle is anything but ordinary, but there’s no time to dwell on that. Headmaster Phineas Nigellus Black greets you begrudgingly before hurrying you into the Sorting Ceremony. Here, the Sorting Hat gets a peek inside your mind, but ultimately, you get to choose where you belong: Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, or Slytherin. Once sorted, Professor Weasley leads you to your common room for your first night at Hogwarts.

Settling In

The next morning, step out of your dormitory and introduce yourself to some fellow housemates. Once you’ve gotten acquainted, Professor Weasley meets you outside to present something very useful: The Wizard’s Field Guide. This enchanted book will help you track progress, complete challenges, and uncover the many secrets of Hogwarts.

A Tour of the Castle

Follow Weasley as she introduces you to key mechanics like Revelio, which helps you find hidden Field Guide Pages (your first collectible!). Soon, you’ll also unlock Floo Flames, Hogwarts’ fast-travel system, making navigation around the massive castle way easier.

What’s Next?

Before setting you loose, Weasley assigns you three important tasks:

• Attend Charms Class

• Attend Defense Against the Dark Arts Class

• Visit Hogsmeade to replace your lost school supplies
