The Ultimate Hogwarts Legacy Broomstick Guide

Take to the skies and explore the wizarding world in style with this definitive guide to broomsticks in Hogwarts Legacy! This comprehensive handbook will walk you through unlocking, purchasing, upgrading, and mastering your cleaning-tool-turned-racing-machine; ensuring you're well-equipped to soar through the skies of the wizarding world.

How to Unlock Your First Broom in Hogwarts Legacy

Sorry, but you won’t be soaring over the castle on your first day. Broom flight is unlocked after completing the main story quest "Flying Class", which becomes available after finishing "Jackdaw's Rest."

  1. Head to the Flying Class Lawn Floo Flame near the Bell Tower Wing and begin the class.

  2. Madam Kagawa will teach you the basics of broom flight.

  3. Your classmate Everett Clopton may offer an off-the-record detour—take it if you want some extra fun!

  4. After class, Everett will suggest visiting Spintwitches Sporting Needs in Hogsmeade.

Once you complete "Flying Class," you can purchase your first broomstick and truly begin your aerial adventures! Check out our Main Quest Guide for a complete walkthrough.
