A Message From Nearly Headless Nick

As a Gryffindor, you're tasked with The Hunt for the Missing Pages, and it all begins with an Owl Post from Nellie Oggspire. She informs you that Nearly Headless Nick wants to meet you near the House Point Hourglasses.

Nick reveals he knows about the missing pages in your book and offers to help you find them… but there’s a catch. He needs some rotten roast beef from the House Elf kitchens. Follow Nick’s instructions to tickle the pear painting, revealing the secret kitchen door. Inside, find the rotten roast beef on a barrel and speak to Feenky, the House Elf, who allows you to take it.

Off to the Cemetery and The Headless Hunt

With the rotten beef in hand, head to the cemetery outside Hogwarts to meet Sir Patrick Delaney-Podmore and the ghost of Richard Jackdaw. Unfortunately, Jackdaw can’t speak without his head, so your next task is to find it.

Search the Magic Neep area for pumpkins where Jackdaw’s head is hiding. Use your Basic Cast to smash them, finding Jackdaw’s head five times. As you do so, follow his ghost to pinpoint his hiding spots. Once you’ve found him, you can finally ask Jackdaw about the missing pages.

Tracking the Pages

Jackdaw reveals he stole the pages from Peeves ages ago, and the best place to track them down is near the Forbidden Forest. Agree to meet him there, and the quest concludes.
