Overview:
The Hippogriff Marks The Spot is a side quest where you find and solve a treasure puzzle using Henrietta's Map, located in Poidsear Castle.
Quest Requirements:
Having finished Main Quest: Tomes and Tribulations
Quest Objectives:
Retrieve the rolled parchment from the table in Poidsear Castle
Inside Poidsear Castle, find and pick up the rolled parchment on a table. This will give you a hint about where to look for treasure.
Use Henrietta’s Map to find the treasure
Head to Manor Cape region based on the map’s directions. The entrance to the hideout is below Merlin's Trial. Go down the stairs next to the trial and enter the hideout.
Solve the puzzle inside the hideout
To proceed, cast Incendio on the statue to your left to reveal a cube.
Use Accio or Wingardium Leviosa to move the cube onto the pedestal, then cast Incendio on the left cube and Glacius on the right.
This will open a door behind the cubes.
Defeat enemies and solve another puzzle
After defeating the enemies in the next room, cast Incendio on the middle statue.
Then, turn on the four highlighted flames from the picture provided in the map. If you light the wrong flames, use Glacius to extinguish them.
This will open a wall behind the phoenix statue, revealing a chest.
Open the chest
Open the chest to complete the quest.
