In The High Keep, you’ll team up with Natty to infiltrate Falbarton Castle, uncover a crucial letter linking Harlow to Rookwood, and rescue Highwing the Hippogriff. Get ready for stealth, puzzles, and a dramatic escape on the back of a flying mount!
Meeting Natty at Falbarton Castle
Travel to Falbarton Castle, located east of Hogsmeade, and meet Natty near the Floo Flame outside the castle.
Natty will tell you about a letter she discovered, linking Harlow and Rookwood. Your mission: retrieve the letter and free Highwing.
You’ll strategise with Natty, preparing to sneak into the castle to get what you need.
Climbing the Battlements
Head to the right side of the castle to find a wooden ledge and climb it to reach the battlements.
Use Depulso on the mechanism to raise a gate.
Cast Wingardium Leviosa on the nearby crate to float it beneath the ledge, creating a stepping platform to reach higher ground.
Entering the Gatehouse
Navigate around the battlements to find a small window. Use Accio to pull a crate from inside the gatehouse.
Destroy the wooden barricade with Depulso and crawl through the opening to enter the gatehouse.
Opening the Main Gate
Inside the gatehouse, locate the gate mechanism and cast Depulso to raise the portcullis.
Quickly use Accio on the handle above to stop the gate from falling.
This will allow Natty to enter and continue the mission.
Reaching the Roof
Ascend the ledges to the roof of the castle. You can use Disillusionment to sneak past enemies or engage in combat if you prefer.
Use Levioso on crates to create climbing platforms and unlock doors with Alohomora as needed.
Escaping on Highwing
Once you reach the roof, a cutscene will trigger, and you’ll mount Highwing.
Soar through the air to escape the castle, completing the quest in a thrilling flight.
