Overview:

In Tangled Web, you assist Crispin Dunne by investigating the mysterious infestation of spiders that has affected his friend Mary Portman in Aranshire.

Quest Requirements:

Completion of Charles Rookwood’s Trial main quest and Absconder Encounter side quest.

Quest Objectives:

1. Talk to Crispin Dunne
   peak with Crispin inside the Three Broomsticks in Hogsmeade. He asks you to check on his friend Mary.

2. Check on Mary Portman in Aranshire
   Travel to Aranshire, located on the east side of the map, to find Mary.

3. Protect the hamlet from the spiders
   Defeat the spiders attacking the hamlet near Mary’s house.

4. Find Mary
   After clearing the spiders, enter Mary’s house and interact with her body.

5. Find the source of the infestation
   Head to the backside of the house and enter the cellar.

6. Search for the nest
   Inside the cellar, follow the path and climb down the ladder at the end.

7. Destroy the Egg Sacs x12
   Destroy 12 egg sacs scattered around the area in groups of 2-3.

8. Find the source of the eggs
   After destroying the egg sacs, follow the quest marker to locate the source.

9. Defeat The Insatiable Spider
   The source of the infestation is a large spider. Use Incendio to defeat it effectively.

10. Return to Crispin Dunne in Hogsmeade
    Once the spider is defeated, return to Crispin in Hogsmeade and report your success.
