Overview:

In Minding Your Own Business, a PlayStation-exclusive quest in Hogwarts Legacy, you assist Penny, a house-elf, with a vacant shop in Hogsmeade. The quest involves purchasing the shop, exploring its mysterious secrets, and eventually confronting Cassandra Mason, who is linked to the strange occurrences within.

Quest Requirements:

 Completion of Fire and Vice main quest.

Quest Objectives:

1. Speak with the house-elf outside the vacant shop in Hogsmeade
   Start by talking to Penny, who will ask for your help with the shop.

2. Speak with Cassandra Mason
   Follow the quest marker to meet Cassandra Mason, the shop’s previous owner.

3. Collect 1,500 Gold to purchase the shop from Cassandra Mason
   You will need 1,500 Gold. Sell items if needed to gather the money and then return to Cassandra to purchase the shop.

4. Speak to Penny the house-elf
   After buying the shop, talk to Penny to proceed with the repairs.

5. Clean up and make repairs
   Use the Reparo spell to fix three items inside the shop.

6. Open the mysterious chest
   Follow the marker and open the chest inside the shop.

7. Explore what lies below
   Head through the newly opened door. The path leads to a series of strange, shifting rooms where you must interact with objects like lamps and figurines to progress.

8. Explore the library
   If you choose the left side path first, you will eventually reach the library. Solve puzzles involving a statue and an upside-down room to continue.

9. Entertain Fastidio
   A brief fight with Fastidio begins, but you can only defend yourself with Protego.

10. Return to the foyer
    After the fight, return to the foyer where you started, then choose the right side path to continue your exploration.

11. Explore the atrium
    Solve puzzles and defeat more enemies as you proceed through the atrium, using lamps to unlock doors.

12. Play with the poltergeist
    Another battle ensues with a poltergeist. Use Protego to block attacks and defeat summoned mannequins.

13. Return to the foyer
    After the fight with the poltergeist, head back to the foyer to continue.

14. Venture beyond the foyer doors
    Move past the large door and follow the path forward, leading to the final challenge.

15. Challenge Fastidio
    A final fight with Fastidio and his monster awaits. The battle will include reversed controls for a portion.

16. Return to the shop
    After defeating Fastidio, return to the shop.

17. Speak to Penny
    Talk to Penny inside the shop to conclude the repairs and progress.

18. Seek out Officer Singer
    Follow the quest marker to find Officer Singer and learn more about Cassandra.

19. Confront Cassandra Mason
    Go with Officer Singer to Cassandra’s house for a final confrontation. Defeat Cassandra in battle.

20. Return to the shop
    After the battle, head back to the shop and speak to Penny to complete the quest.
