Meeting Richard Jackdaw

Head into the Forbidden Forest to meet Richard Jackdaw's ghost. He’ll guide you in your search for Ollivander’s missing wand and the stolen book pages. Travel to the Forbidden Forest Floo Flame, meet Jackdaw at the East North Hogwarts Floo Flame, and follow him to Jackdaw’s Tomb. Use the birdbath to whisper the secret password, opening a swirling stone portal. After a brief Goblin ambush, proceed into the tomb.

Inside Jackdaw’s Tomb

Inside the tomb, you’ll face Ancient Magic puzzles. Start by unlocking a door with Basic Cast on three orbs. Beyond that door, burn a spider web with Incendio and prepare for battle with Thornback Spiders. For an extra challenge, use Incendio followed by Basic Cast to trigger explosive damage.

You can explore side rooms to find loot and fight more spiders, but follow the main path to another Ancient Magic puzzle. Use Accio to summon platforms, then platform your way through to more loot and new challenges. Eventually, you’ll face a bigger wave of spiders, including Matriarchs.

Jackdaw’s Skeleton

After the spider battle, hit another set of Ancient Magic orbs to unlock the final bridge. Cross it to find Jackdaw’s skeleton and recover the book pages. But be careful—Pensieve Sentries and a Pensieve Protector will attack! Defeat them, then move to the new archway.

Unlocking the Map Chamber

As you progress, your Ancient Magic will protect you from flooding waters. Reach the Map Chamber, where Percival Rackham greets you. This unlocks the Talents system, letting you upgrade your skills.

Conclusion

Spend your Talent Points to unlock new abilities, then exit the Map Chamber and return to Hogwarts via the spiral staircase.
