Time to explore another secret passageway within Hogwarts! In this quest, Sebastian Sallow leads you to the Undercroft, a hidden chamber where he introduces you to a powerful (and slightly forbidden) spell: Confringo.

Finding the Undercroft

Meet Sebastian in the Defense Against the Dark Arts Tower at night. After thanking him for his help in the library, he’ll guide you to what seems like a dead end. But with a quick interaction, a hidden entrance reveals itself, leading you both into the mysterious Undercroft.

Mastering Confringo

Once inside, Sebastian shares a bit about the chamber’s history and swears you to secrecy. He then decides you’re ready to learn Confringo, the powerful Blasting Curse. Complete the spell-learning minigame, then test your new magic by igniting the three unlit chandeliers around the room.

Return to Sebastian for a quick chat before making your way out.

A Close Call with Ominis Gaunt

As you leave, you’ll run into Ominis Gaunt, who’s less than thrilled to find you in the Undercroft. He warns you to keep your mouth shut, or else.

After this tense exchange, the quest wraps up… but your journey is far from over.
