How to Unlock Astronomy Tables in Hogwarts Legacy
You can’t start using Astronomy Tables right away. To unlock them, you’ll first need to complete the Astronomy Class main quest, which becomes available halfway through the game. During this quest, you'll solve your first constellation puzzle with Amit, a fellow student. Afterward, you’ll be ready to find and solve puzzles at the Astronomy Tables scattered across the world.
Where to Find Astronomy Tables
There are 15 Astronomy Tables to discover in Hogwarts Legacy. Once you’ve unlocked the Astronomy Class, you can start hunting for these tables. Here's how to find them:
When you get near an Astronomy Table, a moon and star icon may appear on your map. If you don’t see it, cast the Revelio spell to reveal the table’s location.
Look for stone structures in the area—the Astronomy Tables are easy to spot once you’re in the right place.
How to Use Astronomy Tables
Astronomy Tables can only be used at night. If it’s daytime, you’ll need to fast-forward time by opening your world map and selecting the "Wait" option. Once night falls, head to the table and interact with it to start solving the puzzle.
How to Solve Astronomy Table Puzzles
When you interact with an Astronomy Table, your telescope will appear. The goal is to align the blue constellation with the bright stars in the sky. Here’s how to do it:
Zoom in or out to get the right view.
Rotate the constellation to match the stars.
Adjust the telescope slightly if needed.
The best approach is to zoom out far enough to see both the constellation and the stars. Then, rotate the constellation and adjust it until everything lines up. If it doesn't work, try tweaking the zoom, rotation, or angle. Once the puzzle is complete, you’ll see the constellation appear on the screen.

Astronomy Table #2 (Centaurus): North Ford Bog – Near San Bakar’s Tower. Zoom out and rotate left. Adjust the telescope slightly to the right.
Astronomy Table #3 (Draco): Forbidden Forest – South of the Hippogriff Den. Zoom out and rotate left.
Astronomy Table #4 (Leo): Hogsmeade Valley – Near Upper Hogsfield Floo Flame. Zoom in and rotate left.
Astronomy Table #5 (Scorpius): South Hogwarts Region – North side, west of Forbidden Forest Floo Flame. Zoom out and rotate right.

Rewards for Completing Astronomy Tables
Collecting all 15 Astronomy Tables unlocks the Starry-Eyed Seer’s cosmetic set, which includes a scarf, outfit, and cape. While these don’t boost stats, they let you customize the look of your gear. Here’s how the rewards are unlocked:
Starry-Eyed Seer’s Scarf – Unlocks after completing 5 Astronomy Tables.
Starry-Eyed Seer’s Ensemble – Unlocks after completing 10 Astronomy Tables.
Starry-Eyed Seer’s Cape – Unlocks after completing all 15 Astronomy Tables.
To claim your rewards, open the Challenges menu, go to Exploration, and scroll down to the Find Astronomy Tables section. Click each unlocked item to redeem it and add it to your appearance menu.
