Time to put your wand to work! In your first Defense Against the Dark Arts lesson, you’ll learn Levioso, a spell that lets you lift enemies (and objects) into the air– handy for breaking shields and keeping troublemakers at bay.

Mastering Levioso

Head to the Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom, where Professor Hecat introduces you to your classmates, including Sebastian Sallow and Leander Prewett. Complete the spell-learning minigame to master Levioso, then put it to use on a training dummy. Cast Levioso, then follow up with Basic Cast attacks.

Dueling Sebastian Sallow

No Defense class would be complete without a little practice… which, in this case, means dueling Sebastian Sallow. Use Basic Cast, Levioso, and Protego (plus a Stupefy counter if you’re feeling fancy) to prove your skills. Win or lose, Hecat will be impressed, and Sebastian will tell you about a secret dueling club led by Lucan Brattleby near the Clocktower.
