Overview:
Cursed Tomb Treasure is a side quest where you unlock a locked chest in the basement of an old manor, and solve a puzzle to find hidden treasure.
Quest Requirements:
Having finished Main Quest: The Helm of Urtkot
Quest Objectives:
Open the locked chest under the old manor in Manor Glen
Go to the underground area of Manor Glen, which is located under the old manor.
Enter through the entrance marked on the map.
Turn right, go downstairs, and unlock a door using Alohomora Level 3 (unlocked by collecting 22 Demiguise Statues).
Alternatively, you can find a statue on the hill outside and use Incendio to light it, which will bring you to the basement.
Follow the path inside until you reach the chest. Defeat some enemies before reaching the chest, which contains a map that gives a hint on where to go next.
Use the Mysterious Map Fragment to find the treasure
The map points to the Tomb of Treachery.
Inside the tomb, head straight to a room with an open stone coffin.
Turn left, cast Incendio to clear the spider web, and continue forward.
You’ll reach a room with a closed door and a butterfly puzzle.
To solve the puzzle:
First Butterfly: Cast Incendio on it to free it from the spider web, then use Lumos to lead it to the door.
Second Butterfly: Cast Lumos and lead it to the door.
Third Butterfly: Cast Incendio to free the block, use Wingardium Levioso to move it, then step onto the block to reach the butterfly and lead it with Lumos to the door.
The door will open; proceed to the next room, where you’ll find a puzzle on the floor.
Cast Flipendo on the three marked plates in any order to open the chest.
