It’s time for your first Beasts Class, where you’ll learn how to care for the fantastic creatures of the Wizarding World! Led by Professor Howin, this lesson will introduce you to brushing, feeding, and bonding with Beasts. You might even make a new friend along the way…

Learning the Basics

• Head to the Beasts Classroom in The Bell Tower Wing.

• Meet Professor Howin and Poppy Sweeting, a kind-hearted Hufflepuff.

• Use the Beast Petting Brush to groom a Puffskein. Even magical furballs need some love!

• Feed it using the Beast Feed spell, then do the same with the Kneazles nearby.

A Special Encounter

• After class, speak to Professor Howin to learn about future assignments.

• Poppy calls you over and asks for your help with something… mysterious.

• Follow her into the Forbidden Forest, where she introduces you to Highwing the Hippogriff.

• Show respect by bowing twice, then brush and feed Highwing to gain her trust.

Poppy reveals she rescued Highwing from poachers, and she’s concerned that their presence is growing in the area. She’s determined to stop them and she wants your help.
