Overview:
Absconder Encounter is a side quest where you help Edgar Adley retrieve a family heirloom from a dangerous creature known as the Absconder.
Quest Requirements:
Completion of Tomes and Tribulations main quest
Quest Objectives:
Talk with Edgar Adley
Speak with Edgar in Aranshire to learn about his missing heirloom and the Absconder who took it.
Find The Absconder’s Cave
Follow the quest marker to the Forbidden Forest to locate the Absconder's cave. Use Incendio to burn through any obstacles blocking the entrance.
Defeat the Absconder
Once inside the cave, you will encounter the Absconder. Use Incendio frequently during the battle, dodge his attacks, and attack when possible. He will summon smaller spiders at intervals, which should be defeated to prevent them from overwhelming you.
Find the heirloom Milo left behind
After defeating the Absconder, proceed into a small cave behind spider webs. Use Incendio to burn the webs and retrieve the heirloom.
Return the heirloom to Edgar
After collecting the heirloom, return to Edgar in Aranshire to complete the quest.
